The material for the CD : CAN - LIVE - compilation was taken from cassettes and tapes of non-professional recordings made and/or collected by Andy Hall, friend of CAN, without whose devotion this live-CD would have been impossible. Compiled by Michael Karoli & Irmin Schmidt Soundprocessing and mastering by Michael Karoli & Jono Podmore.

Item II: Book
(as single item already available at Mediumbooks)

The book, titled Can Box: Book, was edited by Hildegard Schmidt, the band's longtime manager, and Wolf Kampmann, a prominent German journalist. Can Box: Book is a very subjective attempt at a reconstruction: a puzzle made up of interviews, analyses, articles and facts that have, until now, been known only to those close to Can.

Video 2 : CAN-FREE-CONCERT by Peter Przygodda (51:23 min)
(as single item release Sept. 1999)

On February 3, 1972, Can held a free concert at Kölner Sporthalle in Cologne. They had just enjoyed a number one chart position in Germany with "Spoon" and more than 10,000 people attended. This concert came to be known as CAN-FREE-CONCERT, and is featured on the Can Box video.

CAN-FREE-CONCERT is made by Peter Przygodda and Robby Müller. Przygodda has edited all of Wim Wenders' films, and Müller was Wenders' cinematographer on several occasions including the film "Paris , Texas" .
